No name, no email, no account, no device identifiers. There is no sign-up.
The app makes no network requests. It works exactly the same in airplane mode.
Zero advertising, zero analytics. Nothing follows you anywhere.
Neon Backgammon does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information. It has no servers, no accounts, and no internet connection. I have no way of knowing who you are, that you installed it, or that you played it.
The app saves a few things so it can pick up where you left off. All of it lives in the app's own private storage on your iPhone, and none of it ever leaves the device:
This data is not readable by me or by any other app. Deleting Neon Backgammon deletes all of it immediately and permanently.
There are none. The app bundles no advertising networks, no analytics services, no crash reporting, and no social media kits. Nothing in the app talks to another company.
The app is rated for ages 4 and up and is safe for children. Because it collects no data from anyone, it collects no data from children either. It contains no ads, no purchases, no chat, and no links out to the web from inside gameplay.
Rules like the GDPR and the CCPA give you the right to see, correct, export, or delete the personal data a company holds about you. I hold none, so there is nothing for me to show you or delete. The only copy of anything is the one on your own phone, and it is yours to remove by deleting the app.
If a future version of the app ever changes what it stores or sends, this page gets updated before that version ships, and the effective date at the top changes with it.
Questions about privacy, or anything else about the app, go to eric@erichunsicker.com.
