Need a hand?

Axis is built and supported by one person, which means your email goes straight to the guy who can actually fix things. Most messages get an answer within a day or two.

Common questions

Answers first, email second.

My data isn't syncing.

The app logs everything on your device first, so nothing is lost. Sync catches up on its own the next time your phone is online. If it still looks stale after a few minutes on Wi-Fi, force-quit the app and reopen it. Still stuck? Email me.

I got a new phone. Where's my data?

Install the app and sign in with the same email. Your workouts, meals, habits, and measurements download automatically. Progress photos are the one exception: they live only on the old device on purpose, so they don't transfer.

Apple Health numbers aren't showing up.

Open your iPhone's Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Health, then Axis, and check that Steps, Weight, Resting Heart Rate, and HRV are switched on for reading. Then pull down to refresh in the app.

Who can see my progress photos?

Nobody. Photos are stored only on your phone and are never uploaded, not even to your own account backup. The only way one leaves your device is if you share or export it yourself.

How do I export my data?

Head to your profile and use Export. You'll get your full history in a file you can save, send, or open anywhere. No lock-in, ever.

How do I delete my account?

In your profile, choose Delete Account. That permanently removes your account and all synced data from the server and wipes the app on your device. It happens immediately, no email required.

I have a feature idea.

The feature board inside the app is the best place for it. Other users can vote on your idea, and the most-wanted requests genuinely shape what gets built next. You can also just email me.

I found a bug.

You're my favorite kind of person. Email what happened, what you expected, and your iPhone model. If you're on the TestFlight beta, the screenshot-and-send feedback built into TestFlight works great too.

Looking for the fine print? The privacy policy covers what the app does and doesn't do with your data. The short version: no ads, no trackers, no selling anything, and your photos never leave your phone.
