Training
Axis is built around one idea: prove you're beating last week. Here's how to run a workout, log your sets, and build a program of your own.
A program is a collection of workouts, and your active one shows at the top of the Train tab. A workout (also called a template) is a list of exercises, each with its own set targets. When you actually train, you run a session of that workout and log what you did. You start with a ready-made program called Push / Pull / Legs, so you can train before building anything.
In the workout editor, drag the grip handle to reorder exercises, and tap the link icon to superset an exercise with the one above it. Paired exercises show combined labels like A1 and A2. Any rest target you set appears on the logging screen so the timer knows how long to run.
Axis tracks personal records for your pinned lifts. See the charts under Train → PRs & Volume, and pin any exercise from its detail screen. When you beat one during a session, a New PR line shows in your finish summary.
Two shortcuts live under Train → Programs: Plan Library installs a ready-made plan in a couple of taps (see the Plan Library guide), and Generate Workout with AI builds a workout from a plain-English description (see the AI generator guide).
